Fallout 4 players have already had plenty of additional content for the open world RPG since its release, with DLC such as the massive Far Harbor expansion and Wasteland Workshop. However, Bethesda still has more in store for the title, with the Nuka World DLC set to launch on August 30. However, it appears as though Bethesda is also going to be releasing an additional feature for the expansion, in the form of a map of the Nuka World theme park.
The news comes courtesy of Bethesda, which announced the map in a post over on its official website. Alongside a downloadable copy of the map of the park, Bethesda is also releasing a physical version of the map. According to the publisher, this Fallout 4 map will be available to pick up in North America and Canada through Gamestop and EB Games stores.
Those interested in getting their hands on a physical copy of the map may need to be quick about it, however. The map will be available from August 24, but apparently will only be in stores for a limited time only. Even so, the digital copy of the map will still be around for anyone needing a little extra help to navigate their way around Nuka World.
Although the Nuka World map itself may not be the most useful tool to use while traversing the DLC, it’s certainly a neat touch from Bethesda. The map really matches what one might expect from a theme park map, complete with colorful drawings of different zones, and a guide to the various attractions found therein. Hopefully, this level of authenticity carries through into the additional content itself.
Fans of Fallout 4 will be looking for something special out of the last Fallout 4 DLC that Bethesda has planned. As it stands, at least Nuka World will offer players a little bit of variety in terms of which side to pick in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. After all, Nuka World will give players the chance to become the fearsome leader of a raider group, which certainly makes a change from the incessant quests being given out by Preston Garvey.
If the file size is to be believed, however, Fallout 4 could be going out with a bang, given that Nuka World is bigger than Far Harbor. Even if Nuka World fails to quite live up to some of the other content available, at least Fallout 4 players have lots of modded content to fall back on – although it’s still not confirmed when mods are going to be available for PS4.
Fallout 4 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, while the Nuka World expansion will release on August 30, 2016.
